My Powerful WHY

I found my path to coaching at a time in my life when I felt completely lost—not unhappy or struggling with my mental health, but unsure of who I was or where I was heading. I had been a mum for over 15 years, spent years supporting family members through difficult seasons, and as I reached 40, everything around me began to shift. Even though my husband and I were partners in a successful martial arts academy, I couldn’t ignore the feeling that something was missing.

Coaching became the space where I rediscovered myself. It helped me reconnect with who I truly am, This work became the space where I began to rediscover myself. Not the version of me shaped by expectations or roles… but who I truly was underneath it all. It helped me reconnect with myself, rebuild my confidence, and understand why I think, feel, and respond the way I do. And through that process, I started to see something clearly—how much of my life had been shaped by patterns I wasn’t even aware of. The ways I held myself back. The thoughts I believed without question. The quiet self-sabotage that kept me stuck.

In 2025, my life changed forever when I lost my husband. The grief reshaped everything I thought I knew about myself and my future. After stepping away from coaching for three years, I’ve now made the decision to begin again—stronger, more grounded, and with a deeper sense of purpose than ever before. Returning to coaching isn’t just something I do; it’s who I am. It’s my way of honouring the journey I’ve walked, the resilience I’ve built, and the belief that even after profound loss, it’s possible to rebuild, rediscover, and create a future filled with meaning.

This is my WHY. I know what it feels like to feel lost. I know what it feels like to rebuild. And I know the power of having someone walk beside you as you find your way forward again.

Embracing My Journey of Self-Discovery

There came a point in my life where I knew I needed to step outside of what felt familiar and start asking myself who I truly was beyond the life I had been living. While working full-time at the martial arts academy with my husband, I felt that quiet pull for something more—not more to do, but more connection to myself. With the support of my husband, I gave myself permission to step back and create space to explore that, beginning my journey into this work. What I discovered was more than I expected. Not only in guiding others through their own moments of realisation—those powerful shifts where they see how they’ve been holding themselves back and begin to understand they have a choice—but also within myself. I reconnected with a confidence I hadn’t fully owned before, and started to understand how deeply our thoughts, patterns, and identities shape the way we live. I became aware of the ways I had been limiting myself, and how much can change when you begin to see things differently. This journey has allowed me to become more of who I am, without apology, and it’s why I feel so deeply connected to the women I now support—especially those who find themselves at a stage where life has changed, their roles have shifted, and they’re left wondering what comes next. I understand that space, and I know how powerful it can be when you begin to rediscover yourself within it. Because this work isn’t about fixing who you are—it’s about reconnecting, rebuilding, and creating something that feels aligned with who you’re becoming. And what I know for sure is this: no matter where you are right now, the potential to change, grow, and step into a new chapter is always there.
